Jeremiah 22:5-7

New International Version

“Though you are like Gilead^(C) to me,
    like the summit of Lebanon,^(D)
I will surely make you like a wasteland,^(E)
    like towns not inhabited.
⁷ I will send destroyers^(F) against you,
    each man with his weapons,
and they will cut^(G) up your fine cedar beams
    and throw them into the fire.^(H)
